We use water-based wood finishes, like urethane and acrylic because these products contain little to no volatile oganic compounds (VOCs), which seep into the air in your home or mix with outdoor pollutants, creating ground level ozone (smog).

FSC Certified

Regal Hardwood has a Chain of Custody Certification from The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC is an independent, non-profit, non-government organization with diverse representation including environmental institution, timber and trade organizations, forestry professionals, and forest product certification organizers from 25 countries. The FSC logo on a product provides consumers with an assurance that the wood they use comes from forests managed in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
